Our goal is to understand and treat human diseases of the blood system and to develop
new approaches to treat cancer. For our research, we study pathways that lead to diseases
of the blood system and potentially new approaches to treat these diseases.
Our hope is that our discoveries will provide new avenues to treat human disease. We are
affiliated with Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford Cancer Institute, and Stanford
University School of Medicine. We also have active collaborations with the Division of
Biology, California Institute of Technology.
